We don't need much space to enjoy art.
I used to send postcards from the post office, although I have lost this habit. But I love this format because of its practical appeal of being able to surround yourself with art and color.
Now I feel that it is time for me to draw and design in a more personal way. So I decided to express myself and deliver it to you by postcards.
Many years ago in Tokyo, I was drawing in black and white. I was obsessed with the light and shadows it cast.
When I came to Spain in the 90s, especially in Sitges (Barcelona), the blinding light of the Mediterranean penetrated my brain. The world was so bright that I didn't even see the shadows anymore. And I started to draw in full color.
I hope my little colored rectangles will accompany you and brighten up your surroundings. I would be very pleased if one of my postcards could make you happy.
With much love and affection,
Tomo
